VICTOR INYANG: Making Waves in Nollywood

My name is Victor Inyang, I am a native of Ekpene Ikpan Nsit in Nsit Ibom LGA of Akwa Ibom State.  I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate, finished from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, a fully registered engineer with The Nigerian Society of Engineers.God gave me acting talent from birth, and when i was 6years, i started performing stage dramas which elevate me to Nollywood today and fully registered with the Actor Guild of Nigeria(AGN). I have strong passion for acting and today acting has become my life.

That is awesome.  Do you do acting full time or still make out time to practice engineering?

I practice engineering as well as i give quality time to my acting career because i have strong passion for it.

That is so encouraging.  Can you give us an idea of how long you have been in the entertainment industry?

I have been in the entertainment industry since 2002 but left 2004 when i had admission in the university, I decided to concentrate in my engineering career, then came back to the entertainment industry at 2011 after my NYSC.

Do you keep a count on how many movies you've featured in?

In my two careers, GOD has been my strength.  I don't keep count on movies i have done

But can you give us an approximate figure?

Not less than 18

Do you select the roles you play in movies or would you say you have some no-go areas in the characters you depict in films?

I'm not a stereotype actor. I don't select roles, I play all the roles given to me by getting myself into the character and giving out the full interpretations.

That is very encouraging, especially for up-coming actors who look up to their role models like you.

On a final note can you tell us what your future plans are, concerning the movie industry. Maybe your hopes and aspirations?

My future concerning movie is to become a great Actor and steady Producer.
