2016 TOP MODELS OF LEISURE QUEST (pt 1)

Modeling is perhaps as old as fashion itself. The fashion column of Leisure Quest Blog has been in the making for quite some time now. Our team of seasoned people in the industry had to take time off their normally busy schedules to pick out our top models from hundreds of pictures received over a span of 6 months. We strongly believe that these young models all have equal potentials in reaching the very peak of their profession if they do decide to follow it through.
Now join us, and view perhaps the most amazing photo collection of African beauty you may have come across in recent times:

MISS HELEN ESSIEN

Miss Helen Bright Essien is a young, talented and beautiful lady, haven started her career as a model in 2012, she admits that the beginning was like laying foundations on rocky grounds.  She was however able to weather the storms of competition thus rising to have her name etched on the list of successful Nigerian models and signing contracts and roles in some movies too.
Her most recent achievements include becoming the winner of a keenly contested FACE OF LEISURE QUEST MAGAZINE 2015/2016, FACE OF ID-NOBLE TV 2015 and being appointed as brand ambassador of House of Divat on a Paris based fashion line.

A HELPING HAND:
Miss Helen recently announced her a bold initiative to start a fashion, modelling and business academy to bring civic education to the rural dwellers especially the women and young girls thus offering them a golden opportunity to acquire comprehensive training and experience which far reaching implications to say the least would offer them means to fend for themselves which in turn would help in eradicating poverty and unemployment.

Some may ask "why is Miss Helen so special?", the answer to that is: this is one young lady that has been using the little means that come her way to provide cloths, food and other forms of assistance to orphans, widows, internally displaced persons (idp's) and people with health challenges of various sorts.

During an interview, Helen was asked why she doesn't post pictures of her philanthropic activities, she chuckled and said: "Nah, there is nothing about doing good that should be be publicized, i mean its not like politics and then i do have respect for the right to privacy of those being assisted because one day they may become great men and women in the society, and there is really no need to stigmatize them at their hour of need".

The time and energy Helen puts into her visitation of prison inmates to make donations and pray with them, traveling to camps for internally displaced persons mostly as a result of the insurgency in some parts of the country e.t.c, its simply amazing how she manages to make out time for her modelling profession, acting carrier and most recently an entertainment column writer  and other sundry assignments.

2. CHUKWUEMEKA BLESSING EBELE (African Queen):

In this young lady, Nigeria has gotten its match of the popular Hollywood Actress of the 70's and 80's: Grace Jones. Blessing Ebele is a professional Model and Actress all in one. Haven done modeling shoots for big names like "House of Tara International" Blessing's bald African look gives her a distinct signature that is world class to say the least, whether on the red-carpet runway or on 3D Cinemas.

Blessing describes the work of a model as something a lot more complicated than most people think. She says that a good model is supposed to endure painstaking portrait sessions where she must comply with the exact instructions and poses/attitude expected to carry the message through. The model is also expected to make a particular brand or product sell.

Blessing Ebele says that House of Fame is also her debut performance on the Nollywood movie scene. At just 22 years of age, the young upcoming star believes that Nigeria and the entire world should watch out for the load of creativity she intends to bring into her acting and modeling careers.

THE BLACK QUEEN HAS WON AGAIN

Queen Blessing Ebigieson
Nollywood actress, Queen Blessing Ebigieson is many things rolled into one.  She is a seasoned actress, model, TV host, movie producer, and the Founder / president of Queen Blessing Foundation-an NGO geared towards ameliorating the plight of the less privileged Nigerians, especially indigent widows.
A native of Okpella in ETSAKO east LGA of Edo State, Queen Blessing was born in Benue State, though she grew up in the Northern part of Nigeria. She was educated at the famous Federal Polytechnic, Bida, where she studied Mass Communication.
Passionate about entertainment, Black Queen, as she is fondly called by fans and admirers, has cut across virtually all areas of entertainment including modeling and dancing, after which she made up her mind to channel all energies into acting and movie productions, alongside her charity organization.

The name Queen Blessing Ebigieson is a household name renowned for the production of highly intellectually scripted movies both in Yoruba and English language. Only recently on Saturday 10th September, 2016, Black Queen (as she is popularly known) received the prestigious Nollywood Humanitarian Ambassador at the Annual Nollywood Europe Golden Awards (NEGA) 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany. As soon as she returned to Nigeria, she got back to the business of making great movies, attending and co-hosting events.

On Saturday 29th October 2016, our very own Black Queen was presented with two prestigious awards at the Eko International Film Festival. The awards were: Best Actress (Indigenous) and Best Film (Indigenous) for her production titled "ILERI IFE".

While speaking with Leisure Quest after the event, Queen Blessing said she wishes to thank the organizers of the event for honouring her. She also said she is greatly humbled and appreciative of the love and support of all her fans within and outside Nigeria.
